PREHYA, was into capacity building, and training, Advocacy and community mobilization.

Pioneers Reproductive Health and Youth Association (PREHYA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 2007, with the Aim and Objectives of improving the prevailing poor Health, Education, Youth Empowerment and Good Governance in the communities.

PREHYA is governed by a Board of Trustees (BOT), Board of Directors (BOD) and the management team which charts direction, agreed on strategic focus, policies and oversees general organizational performance. The Secretariat is headed by the Executive Director, and supported by the management team. PREHYA is working in the North East and North West of Nigeria and has its main office in Misau LGA of Bauchi State and 3 operation offices in Yobe, Borno and Katsina States. Its works with Ministries and Agencies like Ministry of Women Affairs, Education, Health, Religious affairs, Water resources, State Agency for Mass education (SAME), Agency for the control of HIV/AIDS, TB/Leprosy and Malaria. Beside MDAs, it also works with International, National and Local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and community to implement the project that may bring positive changes to the communities.

PREHYA is a member of Nigeria Youth Network on HIV/AIDS (NYNETHA), Member Association of Orphans and Vulnerable Children Non-Governmental Organization of Nigeria (AONN), Network for CSOs in Bauchi, Yobe and Borno States and Civil Society for HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (CiSHAN).
